Plays dvdr's, svcd's, etc. with no problems.

Thanks for the responses guys.

I have just bought the Pacific DVD750 and am very disappointed as when I hook it up , the main screen keeps flickering on the screen. Looks like I picked a dodgy one and will have to exchange it.

BTW, where can I buy a cheap coaxial cable from?

what kind of DVDr have you guys managed to get to work,i think the 2 i tried were the 2nd generation type and they were very jittery but played fine on a few other makes

the pacific 750 from asda sucks believe me i know i've had four of them
problems from freezing reg 2 disc's to picture jerking and not playing any kind of dvd-r all the way through with out a problem. Take it back get your money back, then hope your nearest tesco's have a dansai in stock modle number 852

princo branded worked fine but some cheap unbranded ones didnt
