I wanted to know do i need a dvd-writer to burn that iso? it's1.01 GB in size, i thought i could burn it on a regular cd.
Can't it be written on a 99 min cd? can Xbox read those?

The say that the x-box will read DVD-R / RW alot better than it would CDR / RW.

But saying that until the modchip is out & we know these games work ok it would be a waste of time burning them to disc now, just leave them on your hard drive till the chip's out & we know they work.

Project X say that the games will work on any medium that they will fit onto as the xbox doesnt do media checks. They recommend DVDR/RW , but now Riot are releasing RIPs that will fit onto CD. Again, CDRW is better than CDR

99 minutes is not big enough to hold that much data!

a 99 min disk only works out at 866.25mb

Yes, a 99 minute is too small for a Gig+!
BUT yes...X-box WILL read 99min CDR......I used a 99min audio cd in mine that was burnt in Nero 5540 and it read it fine, so should be no prob for a game on one.

how come - if you used a cdR and it worked - that others say only use cdRW's,
can Xbox read those then any better or is that just a fairy tale?

Alas, I give you the link that shows media compataboility!
http://www.digital-x.de/knowhow/xbox/xbox_cdr/xbox_cdr.htm
this shows what software/media to use with XBOX. Although CDRW is a little more reliable, you can use SOME CDR.
