quangdvo May 12, 2002, 02:54 AM Episode II was released by FTFVCD, I read this on cnet.com
Edins_Vampire May 12, 2002, 07:59 AM Is the DVD bootleg quality any good though?
A friend phoned me today to say they were selling it at a filmfair and that it was wide screen and average quality.
Any comments anyone?
Is the Spiderman bootleg any good as well?
quangdvo May 12, 2002, 01:04 PM Well, if you just read what I said, I found the story on cnet.com. If you just go there, you would find the story and the quality of it.
"A sample clip of the "Star Wars" film obtained by CNET News.com showed reasonably good quality. In full-screen mode, the picture was letterboxed and somewhat blurry, inferior to a typical VCR movie. The sound quality was good, however. "

Ru$$Rip May 12, 2002, 03:04 PM The centropy SVCD release of Spiderman is v.good indeed - very watchable! enough for me to think that I was glad not to blow 12 quid at Flix to see it!

I'd rather hear first hand from someone that actually has it than read someone elses opinion.
Usually they say anything to put you off getting it.
Ru$$Rip:
Cheers for the info bro. Some guy is trying to sell it for £12. Sod that. The cheapest I can get it is about £6.50
Is there more than one version of Spiderman doing the rounds. And Star Wars 2 come to think of it?
ant500 May 14, 2002, 09:06 AM watch them both siperman is ok
but starwars i would wait a bit to see if a better copy come along if you are a star wars fan i would not get a copy yet
Ru$$Rip May 15, 2002, 02:20 AM The 'Proper' version of AOTC is supposed to be fairly watachable according to www.vcdquality.com - I however WILL be q'ing to see this on Thursday Night. This film deserves to be watched in full cinematic glory - then and only then will I think about acquiring a screener copy (if one exists!)
dcm386 May 15, 2002, 02:48 AM Centropy said they weren't going to realease this movie in their nfo for "New Guy" becuase their release of spiderman got too much Attention from the media.
Originally said by Centropy in the "New Guy" .nfo
PS. Want Episode 2 in this quality? Dont count on us to bring it to you. the unwanted media attention the current releases has drawn has made us more than a little reluctant to put a release out. Having said that, we are sure someone else will come to the rescue, for all you Star Wars fans out there.

Why CNet lie? If they lie, then CNet wouldn't be reliable anymore. You think they would want that? Heard of free speech? The government can't do anything if you trying to spread information.
Edins_Vampire May 15, 2002, 11:23 PM Went to a 12:05 am screening.
Just got back....am I sad or what.
Didn't think much of the film.
Yoda fighting with a lightsaber....hmmm...very athletic but then why does he walk like a cripple after doing triple somersaults and sh1t? Too much cgi.
Thank God there was less of Jar Jar.
Hey Quang, like I said, I'd rather hear first hand. Period!
