Need a new soundcard (I think), Currently running Yamaha DS-XG Soundcard doesn't work, tried new drivers- don;t work. Need new card? Anybody got any preferences.

I have a soundblaster live but alot of games seem to have issues with it.Id go for either a soundblaster audigy or else a hercules game theatre or turtle beach.

Yeah I have an audigy and they are good for games and stuff, if it is pure sound quality you r after then turtle beach is the best, but also have a look at the videologic sonic fury which is an excellent card, I would definately not choose a different card to these 3

I got a Soundblaster Live 5.1. It good, never had any problems.
