I was in there last night and they have a logix DVD player at £150 that plays DVD/VCD/MP3. Its supposed to be a good little player aswell as they r meant to be quite reliable! Just thought a few peeps might be interested thats all! Have fun.

Theres loads of those in the Tesco's in the South Wales area. Not sure about the quality of this player, but I was searching for the Dansai 852, and theres no sign of it, but have found a 1010 model, but that looks ugly as hell.

I forgot that it comes with liek 10 free DVD's, sadly they r all SH!T but hey they r free! They only reason i didnt get 1 was cos it had jeremy beadle on the boX! (freak :D)

Dansia 852 I bought one last week and it plays everything and costs less than £100 and they do look better than the 1010

Which Tesco did you get one from ORGAL?

my Tesco's has not got any ethere :o( , been looking for a few weeks now and still no look.

Tescos in redditch (south of birmingham) has got 2 pallets of 852's in stock 2day

Don't care what the 1010 looks like plays everything put in it thats all that counts

Dansai 852 (Tesco) £99. Fantastic,plays anything. They seem to restock on a regular basis.

Has anyone had any problems with audio output on the 852?
I've run the 852 through the scart lead and the sound on the tv has to be turned up quite a bit.
Also when I record films onto vhs, the sound is pretty low.
Any suggestions?

i think it is with most dvd players when you record to video tape ,for some reason the sound is very low,and has a hiss ,
i have the same prob on the sammy 709

Dansai 1010... Great player, but yes very ugly.
I couldn't live with it and upgraded to a Sanyo player, £159 from Comet
Plays everything, bit of trouble with badly authored SVCD apart from that fine.
The Dansai even played raw MPG files though LOL
