Hi folks.
I've just set up a new machine for myself on an Asus A7V333 Motherboard with on board Promise RAID controller.
No matter what i try I just cant get the RAID to function.
I've got two HD's (740DX Maxtor 80GB UIDE133 8.5ms 7200rpm) which I've configured as master and conected each to a different conrtroller.
The bios boots up fine, its kicks into the raid controller where I need to enter the FastTrak100 BIOS and Fastbuild Util to configure the drives.
I select my options but when I try to save the setup it gives me an error message and I have to reboot where by im back in the same situation.
Only thing I can think off is that I need to format the Drivers first but I didnt think this was neccessary (certainly wasnt on the last ASUS RAID board I setup for someone else.)
Please help me as im going out of my mind on this one.
