hmm, ive been using nero for about 3 years now and no problems. i burn everything from music to iso. the secret is, i have the old version 5.0.3.8 and never updated it. whats the point of updating when it works perfectly?

It depends upon what you want to burn. For specialized tasks
Audio - Feurio (http://www.feurio.de/) For VCDs - Fireburner (http://www.fireburner.com/downloads.shtml) for trickier copying CloneCd (http://elby.ch/english/products/clone_cd/download.html). Then Nero (http://www.ahead.de/en/mmdemo.asp) is good for everything and anything in between.

I use a pretty recent version of nero5.5 and have had no problems with either audio, VCD's etc I think its excellent.
