Hmmmm..... I am very sorry to say that Intel has stopped Slot-1 CPU manufacturing. :( And unfortunately your board doesn’t have Socket 370 support. (Same like Mine). If at all you wanna upgrade your stuff, you need to get both.... mainboard as well as Processor.

But could I use a Intel Pentium III 850/256/100 Slot 1 CPU? I am trying to find what I can use. Even though they do not make them you can still find them.

Also what about the Socket370 to Slot1 CPU adapter? I understand that it is designed to support PPGA370 or FCPGA type processors including:

Intel PIII socket-370 type Coppermine

Intel socket 370 type Celeron

Cyrix PPGA370 or FCPGA

Thanks

Yep... you can use daughter cards(adapter). Only the thing is CPU's FSB should not exceed 100 MHz. Thats all mate. Plus you need to find the most suitable adapter made for your mainboard.

I used Sisoft Sandra. It will give you all kinds of info about your system. You can download it here:
