Hi I've not long bought the Dansai 1010 which plays everything I throw at it but I'd like something a little bit more upmarket for the living room to go through my surround setup...Plus the 1010's an ugly b*gger and I couldn't find any Tescos with the 852 left in stock!!! :)

Has to play everything that the Dansai plays, without any problems

e.g DVD/DVD-R/DVDRW/VCD/SVCD/XVCD/XSVCD

Have around £150-180 to spend

Anyone have any suggestions???

Cheers!!

for that sort of money you should be able to find a pioneer DV-444, which is a great looking, superb quality player which plays anything. Most of the time you can get them region and macrovision free. - A Fantastic Buy!!

Yeah was thinking the 444 myself...looks a lot nicer too so I'll get less hassle from the misses!
