i downloaded powerdvd xp 4.0 demo from their website and I can't find where to enter my serial number. I tried the configuration and about pages but cannot find it.

anybody know?

I remember during installation, I was asked for the SN. I entered the SN at that time and like you say, I can't find any option to enter the SN now but in the About box, I do see a box saying "This product is licensed to VN."

Use WinDVD instead if you can get a copy, far better, supports SVCD where as powerDVD doesn't.

Yes, PowerDVD XP supports SVCD as well.

OK I stand corrected, the version of powerDVD I got doesn't support SVCD, still can't beat WinDVD though.
