I had an Epson conversion CDR printer a couple of years back, got to say I was very unimpressed with it.
Ink didnt seem to like the discs !
They have improved I believe but the price hasn't unfortunately

If you want a simple DVD printer that works quite well for around $100.00 US check out the Casio CW50 thermal printer. Works on anything and requires no special coating. I 've had mine for several weeks. Works well and causes no balance or playback problems. Good text labels, poor graphics.
