Hi,

Is there software that is able to show you the actual path for a download link?

For example if I want to download something from ZDnet or Cnet etc, you have to click on a link that brings up the Windows save/open screen. But what if I want to download it using GetRight or MassDownloader etc?

Is there software that can give you the exact ftp/http url for that downlaod?

Regards

Once you are downloading it, you can often just copy and paste the link.

Usually if you stop the automatic download and then click on "If your download does not start, click here" you will be presented with a link to the actual url. You may have to modify it as it will include many tags such as %3A which is a : and %2F which is a /

Personally I would advise using http://tucows.blueyonder.co.uk/ as this gives a true url which doesn't need any manipulation.
