Had a Phoenix installed 3 months ago in V3 and everything has been fine until last night. All of a sudden the PS2 decides it doesn't want to boot PS2 CD based original games or PS2 CD-R Backups.

These have all been working o.k in the past, however, it will boot PS1 CD-R Backups, PS1 Originals, Audio CD's and Audio CD-R backups. It will also boot DVD originals, DVD Movies and DVD-R Games.

When PS2 CD games are used it seems like the laser is hunting more, it tries to boot the game and you end up with just a black screen. However, it will sometimes boot these games with no trouble and then it stops working again.

I've tried placing the console up side down and it still makes no difference. The CD laser pot is factory set still to 950 ohms

Can anybody help?
