Anyone else have this problem? I have v4 PS2 with NEO4 recently moved it to be horizontal and DVDR swap method doesn't work. Makes a real chainsaw sound. But as soon as I try booting it with console vertical no problems at all...

perhaps it could be just a wire loose on the board,

No I can tell you that this seems normal - mine did that also -

When the tray closes the dvd mechanism does not fully return however putting it into vertical mode seems to make the mechanism close better and so your dvd is put into place and boots.

My PS2 Only read gameshark when it is vertical.... It is a V4, How can i fix that?

I have a V3 and it is far more reliable in the vertical position, where as its owner has far more fun in the horizontal position! ;)
