Messiah modchip, plays everything with no swapping and no bootdisk.

Simple.

Second best modchip is Neo 4.0. I have a Ne0 4.1 and it's work perfectly on my V4 PS2 (UK version).

The only 2 things is lacks on in comparison to the messiah is
1) To play DVDR's, you need an original DVD game to swap with.
2) Can't play original import silvers (need to make a copy then use that).

I haven't needed to do either of the above, so my Ne0 4.1 is perfect for me.
