hi troops I have a wierd rippling effect when i scroll down any page be it web site or document can anyone tell me how to get rid of it thanks in advance bob

Oh I forgot to add that when I go into device manager there are 2 question marks over video controler & vga driver could that have anything to do with it cheers

Yes it could have something to do with it.

Try uninstalling the items with the question marks, then reboot and let Windows reinstall them.

If that fails, you will need to identify your video card or chip, then download and install the latest drivers.

This usually happens when you have your resolution set to high without the drivers for the video card installed.

So you need to do what Insomniac has said and you should be back to normal.

You don't say if it has always been like this or just started to happen.

Hey insomniac how you doing I remember you helping me out a couple of years ago.Thanks for replying lads.Done the uninstalling reinstalling bit om device manager.put disc in that came with pc (by the way its brand new pc base unit) windows message was canot insall hardware cant find software.

The motherboard is ASUS M2N-MX

Graphics card is 512MB ATI RADEON X1800XL

When I looked on system details it reads video card unknown

tried ASUS driver site to update drivers. And nvidia site but seeing as I am not that pc literate downloaded varios drivers but eiher they were wrong ones or didnt work.

right guys found drivers they are the same ones that came with the disk installed em still have the questionmarks. I have spent all afternoon on net trying to find vga drivers just keep going round in circles even phoned bill him self no help whatsoever. I am at a loss.???@!!!F***
