Dvd Shrink

I've decided to try out dvd shrink 3.0 to back-up the Two Towers and it does work and it looks pukka, but when I put on dvd-r and play it the very beginning part of the dvd "Warning this is for home use and not for renting blah blah blah" something like that anyhow it keeps on repeating itself on that part, so I have to press the menu button to get the menu's up instead of it doing straight after that message has finished.

.S.O.N.Y.0.0.7., are you using PowerDVD on your rig? The reason I ask is because I'm having the same issue on my PC.

Have the same problem ...... I used DVD Shrink, The film keeps freezing towards the end .....chapters 44 - 49 in the home DVD player, dont know if I'm doing anything wrong when ripping.

Well if you used DVD Shrink to rip I would suggest trying DVD Decrypter and then transcoding with DVD Shrink. Out of 150+ DVDR's I have processed with DVD Shrink this way I have not had one single coaster.

But hey, there's always a first time. If you follow the DVD Shrink tutorial in the DVD tutorials subforum you should get a perfect disc. Maybe try this method and burn to DVDRW and see how it plays back to avoid another coaster. ;)
