Is Live Safe Yet?
I know there was some talk about live updating your dash automaticly to 2.0. Is it safe yet to go on live or will it mess all your files up.

hi microsoft is very smart for sure with the xbox live
this is there main baby that they want to keep secure.
and are coming up with newupdates all the time
so one update comes out and it gets cracked then loads of xboxs get banned
for some reason my box got banned and i had the modchip disable
so im thinking it must be something to do with the new update

only way i would say is play on xbox connect which is free
or the next option is have a xbox non modded and play that way

hey backup, did you turn your chip off before or after you turned the box on? reason i ask, is because live looks for hacked bios'. they can't detect a modchip as the LPC ports are invisible to see unless the d0 is grounded. i wonder if they know a trick to cut off the 5v. of power going through d0 and enabling the lpc to see if somethings connected?

As of now, as long as the mod is disabled, Live is FINE. I've been on several times since the dash update.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:49 PM.
