i could ask what you are doing messing around with 2k3E in the first place, but hopefully it is for purely "educational purposes" :)

you were told right, it is an NT'ish system so use either WinXP or Win2k, but i would go for the former as they are the most similar.

none of them, you need for windows server 2003. Need to check the manufactorers site for the windows server 2003 drivers. What program and what site? It should have most of the drivers for it anyway.

well yes, of course if there are win2k3 drivers/progs then use them...

sorry i was assuming there weren't any on the sites Sikhmunda was looking @. I have found WinXP drivers/progs seem to work for fine on 2k3 server.

Cheers, T.

Oh okey, so do i click on the link where it would say download for Xp..am lil confuse for it..i mean some programz ask ..for ex..msn 6.1 asks..and when i downloaded for xp it crashed, then when i downloaded for win2k it worked fine..

that's the fun you get for trying OS's which are new and don't have full support in the marketplace yet :)

some things will work and some won't. it's a server OS, you can't expect all normal desktop applications/drivers to work until they are designed specifically.

Cheers, T.
