Motherboard and Case Compatibility
I recently had a computer case crap out on me - The buttons broke off and the power supply no longer works. I need to find a new case. I have an old P4 Motherboard made by VIA with a 1.7 Ghz P4 socket 423 chip in it. How do I research compatibility of the new cases with this particular motherboard? Should it tell you on the specs? I am trying to buy it through Newegg and I cant tell where that information is available on their site. Thanks for the help.

if it was in a standard tower, it'll fit in any ATX case, if it was amini-tower, it's AT and that means it's a P.I.A. (Pain In the A$$).
Most cases manufactured these days are ATX, so it'll probably fit in any case that has the dimensions, (or thereabouts), of L472 x W196 x H425 mm.
Hope this helps
