Xbox with xtender
is there anything good to do with a xtender chip
update it maybe so it has a newer decent bios ?

the xtender chip is not flashable so theres not much that can be done with it, unless you use it to flash your tsop with a different bios but then you can't use xbox live with it.

what do you mean with use the xtender to flash tsop

dont plan to use xblive
so if something good can come out of this whole deal i will always try

What you do is:-
On the X-box put the two shorts on the main mobo that allow the on board TSOP to be flashed.
Boot a disk that has the relevant command lines and bios on, making sure its on very good media as you don't want read errors whilst flashing the onboard bios.
Cut the D0 wire once its booted then flash.
Then remove the old Xtender chip.

Thats probable a simplified version, but the logic is there
