Is it a backup??? If it is, make sure you copied the cracked over the original exe. the crack is included on the first cd

yea, i had the same problem. but i figure it out with the help of the people in this fourm.

what i do is install the game first. then right click while the gta3 cd1 is still in the cdrom, and select open. there should be a folder called crack. copy the gta3.exe and go to the directory where u install gta3. then overwrite the orginial gta3.exe with the fta3.exe u just copy. click on it and u should able to play it.

Im having this problem. Im using the cracked file on cd1 and when I run the game, it says to insert disc 2 or press esc to cancel. Ive also tried the repack fix. Nothing seems to work. whats wrong?

Are you running the copy in a CDRW drive?? Because it is possible that they left the ATIP check when they cracked it. Also another possibility is that you have some blacklisted software installed..
