mouse alternatives [self built; net surfer model; winME]
 
i was wondering if there's any way to set up a game port joy pad to control the pointer in windows? my mate has smashed his mouse and only has a joy pad.:round: untill he can get a new mouse at the weekend.

Why would it be so difficult to just get a new mouse? They're giving it away these days (MIR).

And in answer to your question, no.

You will find however that most Windows applications are controllable by keyboard.

this program may help, it allows you to use the keyboard to control the pointer.
