How to read blank cd serial no.
 
I want some programm to read serial no. of any blank CD

CD's (blank) don't have an individual serial number.

There are programs that can scan a CD and tell you the manufacturer and maybe the batch number or code, type of dye used etc, but that's about it.


What exactly are you trying to find out?

You can really prevent people from copying CD's or DVD's.

If huge companies like Sony and EASports can't, you don't stand much hope.

I use a program called DVD Identifier and it tells you the media ID and its origin of production. Hope that helps, Laters, J.J.

Thanks anyway, but that's not what he/she is after.

They want something to prevent copying.
