Unix security

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was anyway to lock a file on unix to where it was not viewable, but still usable?

Thanks

put it in one of the root folder that only admin can access or set its permission to admin only, you shouldnt be logging on as root just to use the system anyway so the file should not be accesable unless you do a su or a su do or log on as root

Im not sure of any other ways to do what you want though
