-Does anybody now a small tool which give me all needed information about a movie file (.m2v) like System (Pal or NTSC) Format (4:3 or 16:9 and which 16:9), Bidrate, etc.
I think i can get some of this information out of DVD Studio but itīs not so smart.
-Could anybody explain me what the Bidrate exactly is?

Bitrate

Very often used when speaking of video or audio quality -- defines how much physical space one second of audio or video takes in bits (note: not in bytes). For example: 3 minutes of MP3 audio in 128kbit/sec CBR bitrate takes 2.81 megabytes of physical space (1,024 x 128 / 1,024 / 1,024 x 180 / 8).

Ranges from 5.7MBits/s-9.8MBits/s

Try seaching for terms in a dictionary

All the information for your dvd should be on the original dvd

Example.......... Did you buy it in the US or UK?

When you get a dvd depends on your region PAL is a european video NTSC is US or Japan

Widescreen or regular

4:3 is a normal ratio for a TV screen 16:9 is widescreen

DVD studiopro will let you change these settings if you want to encode your project for a different region or make it a widescreen movie
