psycho jack was selling em.. it is 10 wires, its based on the executor, but it needs wires to be put on the big solder pads (same ones the executor goes on) and he said something about the bios being flashable later?

its either thast or enigmah for me.. so has there been any problems with enigmah chipping, or is it easy.. so far all ive chipped is a neo 2.2 into a ps2...

Nick

X-terminator

These are my own chips, they are not based on the X-ecuter at all. However they use the same points and are based on the same information the Xodus peeps have used for their mod, ie it uses the same chip.

ahh right i see!!
im just wondering about enigmah or this.. i know 2 people with enigmahs that work every time like a dream.. but noone with your one (not to say that its in any way at all bad) and my main worry is ease of installation, and any side effects, as the guy that wants me to chip his is apparently a scary individual who would not take kindly to his x box breaking in 2 months.. which would probably end up knocking on to me!

nick

psycho, ill email u again on enigmah prices..

Well lets compare it with enigmah.

enigmah 31 wires, this has 10
enigmah remove mobo to fit, no need with this chip
enigmah no HD patch, HD patch with this chip
Enigmah, no reset/eject trick, this chip has this feature
Enigmah not upgradeable, this chip can be flashed in situ as the xodus can.

Well maybe we should compare it with the xodus then. Well ok you need to solder the wires and you dont get a programmer with it, but it comes with bios onboard and can be programmed in situ, price wise 15 to 50, I know which chip I would choose!.

heh.. correct jack!! when i convince this guy to get his done.. ill be emailling u! im not at all experienced with x boxes.. only chipped a ps2 neo 2.2, and repaired 2 loose wires on another neo 2.0.

you know that final wire on your chip.. the one that goes to the point with the hole (cant remember their names) is it possible to do what i did on the ps2.. (use 30 awg wire, tin at the top, stick it in the hole and heat the tinned area, so as to not heat the hole up too much?)
its just that ive never seen inside an x box before thats all!!

thanks
