Right- ok - just done 3 burns of the ripped version of thps4 one in nero, one in cdrwin, one in discjugglar, all have the right settings, none work though!!! They all have the right slus file in now though. And i can confirm that the SLUS file in the DVD-R was corrupt. The proper slus file has got all the correct booting instructions in, and the dvd checks, (which i changed so it would work on cd-r) so now i have a little bit of progress, but not much!

ok so now i'm guessing atm the best thing for us people who have bought or burnt the dvd-r is either

A) get a working dvd-r
or
B) get a working cd-r rip and then whilst in the game - say at the menu, sway over to the dvd-r - don't think that this 2nd idea is a viable option to all those no mod peeps out there.

i'll let you know if i make any more progress

right well i couldn't seem to get the cdr rip to work either which is stupid as it was all done right, so i can't confirm if you can swap from cdr to dvd-r at this time
