Cool VHS Frame/Sec?

sponsored links

All of this stuff is completely new to me. I want put several VHS tapes onto VCD. I've been reading about capture cards and software. One question that's struck me about the capture cards is the frames per second data.

How many frames per second does VHS play at so I can know whether the card is going to capture 100% of the video?

What other criteria of measurement should I be aware of here?

Any pointers are fully appreciated.

It doesnt matter that it is VHS it is whether it is NTSC or PAL that dictates thye frame rate PAL is 25 fps NTSC is 29.7 I'm pretty sure this is right but I don't use vhs so I'm not 100%
