Depends on the data. But overall I would have to go with winrar.

same here. I have tried winace, winzip and winrar, and it seems to be that winrar has a higher compression then the others and slightly* faster then the other two.

*depending on proccessor speeds and types can affect this, but winrar is the best in my opinion. Sorry for the "*" thing...had to do it atleast once!

winrar no question!

tryed the rest winrar's the best!

but if were talking audio try mp3pro good qulity when uncompressed!

Kinda redundant, but WinRAR seems to be the best...handles a helluva lot of formats. (even those troublesome tar.gz)
