If you use ifoedit to authour it will be better cause it will keep the 16:9 aspect ratio (if your dvd is that ratio). Spruce will make it 4:3 and you will still have to edit with ifoedit anyway to correct the ratio.

Just use the doom9 guide for basic authoring with IFO EDIT.
