Default Best bang-for-the-buck chip?

sponsored links

About to buy an xbox, want to know what the best value is in terms of chips. What works well and is affordable? Also, is there anyway to get a cheap installation (example bringing chip and diagram to a TV repairman).

Thanks Omar

xbox installs are easy mate, the Xecuter 2 even has a pogo pin adapter to make installation extra simple i would recommend this chip over any other

X2 pro is the best.
no need for rip off adaptor to recover from a bad flash just a standard male-male DB25 paralell connector

Depending on how much you want to spend.

ALL chips do basically the same thing. The cheaper mods are just as good as the more expensive, as long as they are programable.

If you just want to play games and change hard drive etc then ANY chip that will take an EVOX bios will do.

Best to go for a solder in mod as the ones with Pogo pins and NO SOLDER are just too much trouble. One minute they work, then you may knock your xbox and you have to open it up and re-position your chip.

We have done 1000's of conversions and would always recomend a solder in chip for reliability.
