Default trouble with lens

sponsored links

i know this isnt a hardware forum, but this problem is bugging me..
my DC dropped on the floor and now the lens wont budge.. ie it wont move in its normal vertical fashion to read the discs. i think there's something broken inside, yet i can see the dim laser light once i pull that stick which emulates the lid being open/closed. the motor is fine nonetheless. can it be fixed for cheap? or do i need a whole new replacement machine? much thanks

you should try and find a used DC, it's not worth it to go out and fix it if it's expensive to do.
