Default PS2 & Recordnow Max

sponsored links

I followed the tutorial on how to backup my Original PS2 DVD Games to a DVD+R using Recordnow Max 4.50 , I created the Image fine so preceded to burn the image as per instructions i used

203 – Select the number of “Copies”, the Burn Speed (1x or 2x depending on media), Select “Record and Verify” from the next drop-down box along, and finally “Verify every round”.

Game trying to backup "Herty gerty" Length 4,351,53MB(2227984) Used

Now my problem happens after the burn finished & the verify begins , I get the following fail message

Verfing 32KB (000016) Error - 10 at sector 16 Command:28 Sense:03 ASC:11 ASC:00

Now i have no clue what the above information meens Below is system specs i have

P4 2.2gig , 64meg GF4 video card , 512meg ram , SB live , Lite-On DVD+RW LDW-401S " Media was "DigiMedia DVD+R 120min 4.7gig

Any help appricated

Could be the media. Try a different brand of media.

It could be the media. Since you are going to attempt using DVD+R in a PS2 then I would go with a brand that comes more recommended i.e. Ritek, Verbatim, Fujifilm DVD+R.

Turn the verify option off, it's time consuming and if the disc burns it will play. It's a little drag and drop bar that you can modify in the "data" section.
What version ps2 do you have? DVD+R media seems to like ps2's that are version 5 and up, on rare occasions do they play on other versions.
