Thumbs up svcd to big for dvd-r?

sponsored links

Ok i got the 2 fast 2 furious dvd screener svcd!, each file's roughly 813.800 kb.
I joined them together leaving a file that totals 1,616,147 kb.
Then i loaded it into ulead dvd movie factory, but it said the file was 4.6 gig and was to big for the compilation?
Any help with me problem? have i gotta encode the files or something?

That is because SVCD files are not DVD compliant so Ulead is wanting to re-encode.

Not used it personally but I got the impression that Ulead doesn't have proper bitrate control, so if you do want to re-encode, I suggest you try some different software.

For more info on SVCD to DVD, both converting and doing it without, try the search button.
