Question Nero & dvd2one help needed?

sponsored links

If the m2v file is to big to place on a dvdr using the udf option in nero version 5 how can I place just the m2v file on a dvdr?

Also whats the best vbr bit option in dvd2one? I remeber reading 4444 ususally maxs out a disc is this correct? or can I make the bits higher? what would you recommend?

Any in input would be helpfull.

Thanks.

THE MAXIMUM VBR BIT ON DVD2ONE IS 4472 THAT GIVES 4.37Gb which is equivelent to 4.7gb on disc
but i recomend 4400 to protect the data/vob files on the edge of the disc
hope this helps you

M2V?? DVD2One outputs DVD compliant files... an m2v is simply a mpeg2 video stream, it requires authoring along with an audio stream before burning.

celtic_druid yes I reliease that only I am taking this particulat m2v file from one location to my pc at home to author and burn, so that why I wanted to know that if the m2v file was bigger then a dvdr then would be possible to split it so it could fit on a dvdr to take home with me.

Errr, that isn't what you asked before.

Split it and fit it on a DVDR? Don't see how that works. Split it and fit it on two, sure although I would suggest using RW's.

Once you get it home though, you won't be able to use DVD2One, not only does it output DVD compliant files, it also requires them for input. You could author your m2v and then use it though.
