sponsored links

Hi..
My last few backups done with DVD decrypter and shrink all have subtitles.
How do identify the right files to remove them?
Cheers

Just simply uncheck all the subtitle boxes m8 in the Gui when processing with DVD Shrink as shown below.

Or turn off subtitles when watching the film, as most ripper programs and cheap dvd players seem to force them on when first viewing the film

Some commercial DVDs do seem to be setup with subtitles that automatically play. I have several Warner Bros. movies (original discs) that do this. As mentioned, use DVD Shrink and remove the subtitle tracks. Then you won't have any problems. It won't take long if you don't have to compress.

Alot of DVD movies determine what will display based on the internal settings of the DVD player. Start your DVD player without a disc inserted and look in the player's setup menus, theres probable an option there to automatically play subtitles, turn it off and subtitles will never play unless you choose it. (Both my Pioneer and my RCA DVD players behave this way)
