What firmware are you using on your 105? How are your drives in your PC setup?

ive normally never had a problem backing up discs on the fly, until today!
my first disc goes in the liteon dvd rom and my blank goes in the dvd writer, it gets to about 70 ish % and stops. the only way around it has been to read from my writer and then insert blank and copy from writer.
if i want to reduce the speed like yinyan suggested what do i select ive got max,16x,8x,4x,2x

Most definitely. If you are going to risk burning on the fly, you should have your reader and writer on seperate IDE channels.

Erm...... He has m8.

You could try swapping HD No2 with DVD-ROM reader m8 but I doubt it would have any effect, I run exactly the same setup on my second system with the reader on an IDE card and it works fine for me.
