Question Does the PS-X-Change ps1 boot disk work on PS2

sponsored links

I recently bought a ps2 flip top cover and it works fine for ps2 games, but I want to play ps1 backup games aswell.

I know about the PS-X-Change boot disk for the ps1, will this disk work on the ps2?

I'm thinking as I have the flip top cover I can insert the disk like it was a ps1 and boot the playstation, then change the disk when prompted to a backup and the playstation will continue to load like the ps1 would.

Can anybody help??

It doesnt work (at least it didnt for me in my version 4 US ps2) but if you can find a gameshark or action replay the psone disk that comes with them will work just fine though

Thanks I think i'll try the action replay.

Which version of the action replay do I need? I can find the action replay 2 v2 or the action replay max, but none of them say they come with the psone disk.

Do you know if all the action replay's come with the psone disk or not?

Cheers for the advice.

I looked high and low for an action replay this morning and finally found one that had the bonus psone disk in the box, in my local newsagents of all places, it's an action replay 2 v2 and it works a treat.

The PS-X-Change is for Playstation and PSOne only. Not PS2 - I am 100% sure
