Yeah the HDD works with DMS3, just throw in a HDD and download the HDD formatter from the DMS website, burn onto disc and throw into your ps2. You can store whatever you like onto it, music, movies, emulators, or even games that support it eg. Final Fantasy X International (the download package actually comes with a mega drive emulator). Ive got a v9 DMS chip but im sure it works with the other versions.

Just wanted to know something about operation of the DMS3, when the ps2 game is already inside the machine and on standby, just pressing 'reset' wont boot the game for me. Is it supposed to be like that?? After the 'Playstation 2' logo comes up, it just goes blank and nothing happens. To boot a game, 'eject' HAS to be pressed.

Is this just my machine or does this happen for everyone? I have a PAL v9 ps2 (the satin silver one) with v9 DMS3.

Can anyone help??
Thanks

I would also like to know of good, reliable sources of pre-modded PS2s. I've found a few, but I've also read on some other boards, that people have either gotten pre-modded PS2s that don't work, or seem to never even receive 'em.
Plus, I dunno if I really wanna pay $300 for a pre-modded one..

www.socalmods.com

Their prices are cheap. I had my pre-mod within a week, from ordering it. They also have a board on their site, to ask questions. I like them, it was a good experince
