Question Need info on manufacturer ID

sponsored links

I bought some discs and when I scanned them with dvd indentifier It gave me a MCC 01RG20 ID. Is this a good thing? Could anyone please include a link to help translate this media? I would appreciate it.

Were these discs Verbatim? MCC=Mitsubishi Chemicals which are considered to be among the best.

Yup. Verbatim seems to use them most of the time now. I still don't buy brand name media because of the fact that you never know when they are going to switch out the dyes on you. Lots of complaints last year when Verbatim decided to do a few batches with the CMC Mag dye on thier discs. By and large though, Verbatim uses quality dyes on their discs.
