Default boot disk

Is there any way to boot to DOS without using a boot disk. I dont have a floppy disk drive.

there are some programs mostly disk utility programs allows u to restarts in dos even if you dont have a boot disk, then from there a:\ you can do what you're suppose to do. ontrack discmanager and most other similar ones allow u to do that. one last thing you should get a floppy, you dont use it much but it makes things easier, even better with now the 2x speed floppys.

if you have winMe or Win 98 then do a google serach for winmebootcd.img or win98bootcd.img Open your CD burning program, Select the bootable CD option, and choose the 1.44MB floppy (standard floppy) option.
It'll ask which image to use, select the winmebootcd.img file you downloaded.
If it doesn't show up, you may need to tell it to look for All Files
(so it'll ignore the extension).

after burning it make sure your PC is set to boot from the Cd rom in the bios and reboot with the disk in the cd rom drive.

some bios have an option to boot to dos screen from bios screen.
