What program do I use to make an Intro movie for a dvd?

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Basically I want to make a 20 sec intro which plays first before a movie starts.I just to know which program is best for making these..

yeah nice idea m8,i like the same thing,just to get my own logo on my dvd-r's(legally owned ..)

anny ideas on this,much appreciated

i think you can do something like that using maestro made by spruce. it is definitely for advanced users so dont think if you get it you will be done quick. there is a faq on if you want fast and simply find a copy of spruce up. you should be able to find a demo around if not email me.

Try Adobe After Effects or even Macromedia Flash.

Yup, I'd second After Effects. No doubt the best program out there for this.

Default No! Sony DVD Architect 2.0

Try Sony DVD Architect 2.0 it really good for making DVD menu's, if you make a menu which plays part of the movie before the menu apears, you'll have one amazing DVD.
You can also use DVD Shrink 3.2 to extract the main movie instead, thats if your making a back up or something.
