Default Can double layer burner burn single layer?

sponsored links

Hi,
Could anyone tell me if a DVD Writer that burns Double Layer disks will also burn single layer disks?
This may seem a stupid question but I am not well aquainted with DVD so please bear with me.

Many thanks in advance,
Brian
