Question Broken PS2? modchip Matrix Infinity

sponsored links

[B]I have installed Matrix Infinity mod chip in my PS2 V5 PAL.
After installing I tried to start up my PS2, it would not load the games anymore. Neither orginal or copy ( burned with dvd decrypter, ISO file, and with 1x speed)
The picture I got on my screen is the browser screen.
There is also a high pitch noise in the background of the sound channel (not mechanical).
I looked over all the soldering and it seems okay.
Tried to load games again with the same result.
Then I removed the modchip, and also then I have the same result.
Have someone experienced the same sympthom?
I will be gratefull for some help ;-)))))

This definitely sounds like a bridge somewhere. Look closely with a magnifying glass for bridges. They may be VERY hard to spot. My guess is that the bridge is where you solder wires to the pins of the bios chip.

Do you know that MAtrix chips are shipped without the firmware installed? Just go their website and burn the firmware and enjoy
