Question converting from NTFS to FAT32

i have a 40gb IBM TRAVELSTAR usb2 hdd and its NTFS formatted so it can only be read in WinXP or 2000, WinMe wont find it
can i somehow change it to FAT32 from Xp? it only gives me the option of formatting it with NTFS

you can delete the existing partition and then recreate a new one, formatting it as FAT32, Im not to sure USB2 will work with winMe, although im sure i'll be corrected if im wrong

A partition tool, like Partition Magic, will convert NTFS to FAT32.

When you convert, there is always a risk of data loss or corruption.

(As far as ME, USB2.0 will work. You will need to provide drivers)
