To the best of my knowledge, from reading articles, my answers:

1. Swap Magic- is a set of cds that enable you to play backup ps2 games, and other uses.

2. Memory card exploit- A flaw in the ps2's boot cycle enables you (after installing files to the memory card) to run your own programs, play backups, use a harddrive and other things.

3. Swap magic disk- you can buy it online. Although it is downloadable, it defeats its purpose, it has no use. The use of swap magic is to enable you to play backup disks and if you download swap magic, it is considered a backup disk therefore, you can't play the backup swap magic. Follow?

4. Memory card exploit- Jesus, there are hundreds of articles out there, and yet, i think all of them are very unspecific, and are very hard to follow, when i get mines working, i can hopefully help you out. But to answer your question, all the files and tutorials are online to help you.

Members of Cdrom-guide, correct me if i'am wrong.

actually, there is a use for a downloadable version of swapmagic,
if you have the older version 2.0,you can use it to boot the newer 3.6 version, which has more fixes built into it.
pretty pointless exercise, considering the cost of a new set,and the hassle that comes with it i must admit.

you need to but the SM disk which ever way you look at it

for a flip top ps2,there are 3 ways you can go

buy a special replacement flip-top case
use the magic key switches
use the tape/tissue method (free),google for it
