When trying to read cd in windows xp it shows up as a blank disk in drive. At first though i figured the drive was dying.... Got a new LG dvd/cd burner and to my prevail same thing. Booted into safe mode and everything read fine??

Any help or quick fixes would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Does it do this with all CD's or just this one ?.

You could try deleting the drive in Device Manager and rebooting and check if it can be read now.
