Im new to these forums, looking good ^^

Anyways, my name is Jackk, and i have a modded ps2 that i got in Mexico about 4-5 years ago. It's always been pwnage, the ps2 games work in the first or 2nd time. But one thing that does not work on the first or 2nd time is the

PSX [PS1] Games. It takes at least about 10 times to get it to work. Sometimes the most i've gotten it to reset was 50 times, before the ps1 games would work. Also the guy must of disabled the DVD capability, it does not read DVD MOVIES, but reads PS2 hmmm??? It reads ps2 original and ps2 iso's

Cd's sometimes work.
Dvd Never. Maybe i need to reset 50 times too??
Ps1 Reset many times..

Any ideas on what happened? Or what i can do? Maybe tighten the chip more ? xD

*Added. I didn't buy a ps2 with the chip, it got added, im not sure what kind of chip it is though, and this ps2 is kinda old i guess. its a FAT ONE.
