Default help neede with rekeying in virtuadub

sponsored links

Ive been converting a few avi film recently to mpeg with no probs but now im starting to hit snags. On certain films in avi format when trying to extract audio in virtua dub i first get a avi import box saying reconstructing missing block index which takes about 5 mins.A message the appears""warning:virtuadub has reconstructed the index for this file, but you have not specified rekeying in the extended open options dialogue.Seeking in this file may be slow.
if i then extract the audio anyway and try to use tmpgne i can only set a source range by actually going through the film in real time-hence @searching in this file may be slow@
what must i do to to correct this?-cheers

Do what the message says.. Select rekeying in the extended open options dialogue.

Or use DivFix on the file.
